Thanks in no small part to the dedication of our expert team of employees, physicians and volunteers, we are successful in that goal. In fact, over the last year, our ministries have been celebrated nationally for providing exemplary patient and resident care to those we serve.
As we celebrate National Nurses' Week (May 6-12) and National Hospital Week (May 8-14) and National Nursing Home Week (May 8-14), we pause to reflect on the important contributions the members of our talented and caring staff make each day on behalf of those who depend on us during their time of need. Whether serving at the bedside, in a home or skilled care setting, in a variety of supportive care services, or behind the scenes in an office environment, each of our nearly 10,448 employees works daily to fulfill the promise that is our Mission: to build communities of healing and hope by compassionately responding to human need in the spirit of Jesus Christ. Without them, our Mission and ministry simply could not exist.
